Chairman, Royal Media Group, Royal FM Ilorin, Kaduna Akure, Engineer Gbenga Adebayo has paid tribute to Professor Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi, SAN, who passed away two years ago on November 20, 2022, saying his remarkable legacy of scholarship, integrity, and service to humanity remains an everlasting light.
Engr. Gbenga Adebayo was friends with the deceased, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Professor Akanbi’s family for their unwavering strength and commitment to upholding his values. He extended special thanks to his wife and children for their courage, and to his sister, Honorable Justice A. Y. Akanbi, for her steadfast support.
Engr. Adebayo also commended KWASU community for their efforts in preserving Professor Akanbi’s vision and contributions to education and society, highlighting the community’s efforts to honor his vision and ensure his contributions to education and society are never forgotten.
In a heartfelt prayer, Engr. Adebayo asked for divine blessings upon Professor Akanbi, wishing him eternal peace and a place in paradise.
He said Professor Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi’s legacy continues to inspire and guide all who knew him, adding that His dedication to integrity, education, and service remains a beacon of light in our hearts.
