President Bola Tinubu yesterday paid an official visit to the Oba of Lagos, His Majesty Oba Rilwan Akiolu at his Iga Idunganran palace.
A statement shared by the president on his X handle today saw him extolling the virtues of traditional institutions and their leaders.
According to the president, he engaged in meaningful conversations with the Kabiyesi about the role traditional institutions play in shaping the society and how they can improve on their role as partners in governance and development.
Speaking further, the president noted that they discussed Nigeria’s challenges and emphasized the importance of leveraging the county’s traditional values in building a cohesive society that promotes prosperity for all citizens.
