The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has mandated all licensed telecommunications operators to update their contact details by 9th of January 2025, in compliance with the Licensing Regulations 2019.
This directive aligns with the NCC’s efforts to enhance regulatory processes, improve industry oversight, and strengthen Nigeria’s telecommunications sector.
According to the NCC’s Director of Public Affairs, Reuben Mouka, operators must report changes to their contact details within seven days and submit updates through the Commission’s eServices platform
The Commission cautioned that non-compliance could attract penalties such as fines, license suspension, or revocation.
The required information which include Principal place of business, Mailing address, Email contacts, Contact numbers and Personnel information.
